Below are some guidelines you should follow when sending in your files.

Have you booked your mastering project with me yet?

If not, please REQUEST A QUOTE so we can chat about your project.

Once we chat, I'll send you a custom quote and agreement, get you on the calendar, and officially kick off your project with you.

If you have already booked your project, please proceed.

Mastering Prep Checklist

  • Make sure none of your tracks are clipping (in the red) before exporting.

  • Remove any master buss processing including limiting, buss compression, EQ, and saturation.

  • Make sure your master buss has 3-6dB of headroom (doesn’t peak above -3dB).

  • Export your songs in full quality WAV or AIFF (not MP3).

  • Name your songs with the following format: “Track Number - Song Name.” Here's an example:

  • If you have alt versions of your tracks, please append them with the necessary labels. (Example: 01 - Reclaimer.wav, 02 - Reclaimer [Single Edit].wav, 03 - Reclaimer [Instrumental].wav, etc).

  • For an additional fee, we can do "stem mastering". This is where we work with your group stems, rather than single stereo files. If you plan to do stem mastering, please create a folder for each song, and label the folder by the track number and name. Then inside the folder, please include your stems, named by track number, song name, and stem name. Here's an example:
