I've had the absolute pleasure of working with local singer songwriter Luke Mossburg all summer on his two brand new tunes, "Slow Dance", and "A Little Bit Of Everything". Luke is an amazing songwriter with an unmistakable country twang. If you've never heard his music before, This is the perfect time to get acquainted! Check out the two songs he released last week, as well as the song I helped him produce last year, "Twenty Two".
Local smooth jazz legends are hitting the charts with their new album, XXII, which I had the pleasure of engineering and mixing. I can't begin to express the amount of fun I had working with these cats! All six of them are masters of their craft, and every song on this record grooves, moves, and proves why you should pay attention if you're not already. From upbeat tunes like Better Days Comin', to smoother tunes like Caribbean Sunset, every single tune in this record is full of jaw-dropping musicianship and spectacular arrangements. The record kicks off in full on party mode with their version of Al Jarreau's Roof Garden, and the momentum stays strong thru til their live version of Run For Cover. Check it out on iTunes, Spotify, and their Official Website. Mastered by Chris Graham Mastering.
I had the privilege of working with Carlie Short and her band earlier this year. We went to Oranjudio, where I engineered their four amazing country rock songs. They range from super fun summer singles (Hangin' Over) to absolutely heartbreaking ballads (Secret Weapon). These songs feature Carlie on vocals, Alex Sopczak on drums, Jarrod Locher on guitars, Wes Cantwell on guitars, and Tim Sauter on bass. You can check out all four songs on iTunes and Youtube.
